  5.   The  IBM  LaserPrinter  is  a  compact  non-impact  desk top page
  6.   printer designed and manufactured by IBM for  attachment  to  IBM

  11.   print cartridge is a single element customer  replaceable  supply
  12.   item consisting of an optical photo conductor drum, toner supply,
  13.   cleaning  station, and charge corona.  Datastream support for IBM
  14.   (PPDS), Hewlett-Packard LaserJet series II emulation, and Plotter
  15.   emulation is standard  with  the  IBM  LaserPrinter.  Its  speed,
  16.   function,  compact size, high yield print cartridge and extensive
  17.   font and paper handling features make  the  IBM  LaserPrinter  an
  18.   excellent workstation page printer for use in office and business
  19.   professional environments.

  27.   The IBM LaserPrinter is a compact non-impact desktop page printer
  28.   designed  to  attach  to  IBM  Personal  Computers,  IBM Personal
  29.   System/2s, IBM displays, IBM systems  with  parallel  and  serial
  30.   interfaces and non-IBM systems claiming IBM compatibility.
  31.   The  IBM LaserPrinter supports three data stream modes selectable
  32.   from  either  the  front  control  panel,  or  through   software
  33.   commands.
  34.   o IBM Personal Printer Data Stream (PPDS).
  35.   o Hewlett-Packard LaserJet series II emulation
  36.   o Plotter emulation - IBM 7372, HP 7475A color plotters
  37.   The  IBM  LaserPrinter will automatically print a page containing
  38.   both  text  and  graphics  in  either   portrait   or   landscape
  39.   orientation  without  the  need  for special fonts or application
  40.   programming considerations. It can print at up to  10  pages  per
  41.   minute, with actual throughput depending on the complexity of the
  42.   page.  It  is capable of printing on a variety of paper types and
  43.   sizes, transparencies, gummed labels and envelopes  designed  for
  44.   laser printers.
  45.   A 200 sheet automatic feed paper tray and a manual feed tray (for
  46.   infrequently  used papers or envelopes) are standard equipment. A
  47.   100 sheet output tray located on the top of the printer  is  used
  48.   for sequenced output, while an alternate output tray at the front
  49.   of  the machine is provided for output of special size or weight.
  50.   Optional paper  handling  accessories  are  500  sheet  secondary
  51.   drawer,  legal-size  paper trays (200 and 500 sheet), 200 and 500
  52.   sheet letter size (A4) and 200  sheet-A5  size  paper  trays  and
  53.   automatic envelope feeder.
  54.   The  IBM  LaserPrinter's operator panel can be used for a variety
  55.   of tasks. The default font, paper  source  and  size,  and  print
  56.   orientation  selections  can  be  set  via  the panel. In printer
  57.   configuration mode,  the  operator  selects  parallel  or  serial
  58.   interface,   and  chooses  the  parameters  required  for  serial
  59.   attachment. The panel is also used to initiate self test and  for
  60.   diagnostics.
  61.   The  IBM  LaserPrinter's High Yield Cartridge is a single element
  62.   customer replaceable supply item which yields up to  10000  pages
  63.   at 2.8% page coverage.
  64.   The  IBM  LaserPrinter  offers  various typewriter-style fonts as
  65.   well as an extensive array of typographic fonts in both the  soft
  66.   (download font) format and the plug-in font cards.

  68.   The  IBM  LaserPrinter's  512Kbyte  resident  user  memory can be
  69.   expanded by adding a 1 or 2 Mbyte optional memory cards.

  455.  The IBM LaserPrinter E's operator panel can be used for a variety
  456.  of  tasks.  The  default  font,  paper source and size, and print
  457.  orientation selections can be  set  via  the  panel.  In  printer
  458.  configuration  mode,  the  operator  selects  parallel  or serial
  459.  interface,  and  chooses  the  parameters  required  for   serial
  460.  attachment.  The panel is also used to initiate self test and for
  461.  diagnostics.
  462.  The IBM LaserPrinter E's High Yield Cartridge is a single-element
